![]() ![]() In compliance with SC law all anglers ages 16 and older are required to have a fishing license Anglers of all ages are welcome to participate.All participating anglers must have a valid, current South Carolina Fishing License at the time each black bass is caught and must follow all length and bag limits for the body of water upon which they are fishing.Both South Carolina residents and non-residents can complete the slam.Fish must be caught legally in South Carolina waters.No minimum length or weight requirements.Each angler must complete the black bass slam within the calendar year.Four unique stickers corresponding to each black bass species.Email your information and attached photos to RewardĪnglers that successfully catch all four black bass species found in South Carolina, and submit the appropriate information will receive:.Each fish submission must include date of catch, location, angler contact information, and fishing license number.Each angler must include a photo of the fish from the side for identification purposes and a photo of themselves with the fish.SCDNR encourages everyone to get out and responsibly enjoy the state's outdoor resources as they pursue a successful slam!Īnglers must catch all four black bass species to complete the SCDNR Black Bass Slam. The idea is to introduce new habitats to anglers while promoting education and conservation of our black bass species and the waters they call home. This slam challenges anglers to seek new fishing spots and target species that they may have never caught.
